Originally from Mexico City, Chef Mauricio is a Superior School of Gastronomy COSUGA graduate with over 20 years of cooking and service experience in hotels, restaurants, and cruises worldwide.

Almost ten years ago, since his arrival in Vienna, he has had a dream of bringing traditional tacos to the city. In the summer of 2021, Tonios Tacos opened its doors, making his dream a reality.
